Arboreal Resistance is a performance that gives voice to these silent giants, exploring their struggle against time, deforestation, and oblivion. Among their roots dwell ancient echoes\u2014perhaps the voices of the xanas, guardians of the forests, who still murmur their laments through the leaves.<br>Ethereal and elusive, the xanas protect nature\u2019s secrets yet suffer its destruction. It is said that when a tree is uprooted or a river is polluted, their wailing echoes through the thicket, warning us before it is too late. Through dance, song, and music, the performers embody the strength, fragility, and memory of the forests, revealing their resilience and will to survive.
