This is a documentary that documents the journey of TREES project from 2024 to 2026, a journey through art, ecology and togetherness.
Over the course of two years, we brought together artists, educators and local communities with the aim of exploring the relationship between humans and nature through contemporary artistic practices. Through performances, festivals, workshops, exchanges of experiences, research and public events, the project opened up space for new knowledge, collaborations and creative approaches to sustainability.
A special focus was on learning through practice, dialogue and art as a tool for social change. TREES reminded us that growth, connection and caring for the environment are a shared process – just like a forest, which survives thanks to mutual support.
